Our apprenticeship program

Kings has a long standing passion for training and skills development. Our Apprenticeship Program has been creating fulfilling careers for over 40 years, all under the careful guidance and support of skilled supervisors and tradespersons within a supportive environment. The program includes training through a recognised Registered Training Organisation, and on the job training.

Trades include plant mechanic, fitting, machining, electrical and boilermaking.
Apprenticeships are generally advertised around May each year for a December commencement.

Traineeships

Traineeships are a great way to start your next career as a plant operator at The Bloomfield Group. From time to time we are able to offer entry level opportunities within the business.

We generally advertise twice a year for Trainee Operators based at our Rix’s Creek Mine and when additional trainee opportunities arise we advertise these throughout the year.

In my role I feel supported from the people both above me and below me, I feel respected in my role.
